WHAT WE SAY ABOUT OURSELVES Barry Passmore & Associates is a small, family-based company specialising in leasehold enfranchisement and estate agency.   WE KNOW ABOUT FLATS Our leasehold work is predominantly in Greater London and within the M25 but we will happily take on cases over a wider geographical location wherever it may be practical to do so.   Our estate agency services are of a hybrid nature in that we have no shop frontage as such. The COVID scenario, however, has significantly accelerated the realisation that a physical presence in the high street is no longer a pre-requisite to being able to offer a first-class service in this field of work.   Our modus operandi is founded squarely in professional integrity and offering a more dedicated, personal service to the client as well as always looking for more innovative and effective ways in which to market the properties on which we are instructed. We do what others claim to.   Given our particular expertise in dealing with those problems commonly encountered by flat owners we are extraordinarily well-placed to assist flat owners with their sale whether or not such problems may be present at the time. In the event that there may be such problems at the time when a sale is required we can, in most cases, co-ordinate the problem solving with the sale and we can generally offer a favourable, packaged fee arrangement in those circumstances.   BARRY PASSMORE BSc MRICS ACIArb Barry is a chartered valuation surveyor of over 35 years standing and has developed a high level of specialisation in the contentious field of leasehold enfranchisement. Working mainly for leaseholders he has considerable experience in dealing with the majority of the family estates as well as the Crown and The Church Commissioners and indeed with freeholders of every kind.    Whether it’s a short lease requiring extension, a collective freehold acquisition claim or an over-engineered ground rent scenario he has the knowledge and capability to solve the problem effectively.   Barry is a firm believer in the advantages of dealing with a small company and specifically in the value of individual, one-to-one client attention. It has stood him in good stead over many years in his professional valuation work and he is committed now to bringing this, some might say old-fashioned, ethos into the modern world of estate agency.
