Principle appointed to manage smart apartment block in Solihull

The new contract is to manage Louise Court, an 18-unit property off Portway Close, in the Blossomfield area of the town.

The apartments will be looked after by Danielle Lannon, a chartered surveyor and recently appointed associate director at Principle, who already looks after a number of key resident management company appointments in Solihull.

Ms Lannon said: “We’re delighted to have won this contract after the resident management company directors undertook a full tender process, interviewing a number of agents.

“On all our instructions, Principle always carefully coordinates a 100-day plan with the client and will work closely together with them to establish key items which need addressing.

“We have a skilled in-house chartered building surveyor who is able to work with clients on putting together tailored long-term maintenance plans and who will oversee all major works.”

A spokesperson for Louise Court (Solihull) Ltd said: “Principle was the outstanding candidate for this instruction and we feel they will be the perfect partner for us.

“We know we need to plan for the future and we therefore wanted a firm of agents that we felt could proactively steer us through the planning and implementation of projects as they arise.”

Joe Jobson, managing director at Principle, explained that Ms Lannon was a “great fit” for Louise Court as she had already excelled at relationships with resident management companies in Solihull at Chancel Court, Broadoaks and Warwick Manor.

He said: “Danielle forms good working relationships with resident directors and gives them confidence as someone who gets stuff done and provides tailored reporting on key issues.

“She’s typical of our team in that we understand the importance of not just providing a management service but also building communities, underlined through our company vision ‘to positively impact the everyday lives of our communities’.”

Principle Estate Management was launched by Brett Williams, a past chairman of the Association of Residential Managing Agents and Joe Jobson. Both are chartered surveyors with over 40 years of experience in the sector between them.

The company has since grown to look after a portfolio approaching 8,000 units in around 250 developments across the UK.
